Sweet and Sour Pork
An easy, practical and economical dish.
Ingredients

1 kg pork

salt to taste

1 onion

2 cloves of garlic
-
Olive oil to taste
-
4 tablespoonful of mild soy sauce
-
1 red pepper
-
½ courgette
-
½ cup toasted almonds
-
oregano to taste
Preparation Method
- Season the pork with salt.
- In a medium saucepan, sauté the chopped onion and finely chopped garlic cloves in a little olive oil.
- When the onion is tender, add the soy sauce and the rojões and fry until the meat is well-colored.
- Add the peppers cut into squares and the courgette cut into small cubes.
- Mix well, add the sweet and sour sauce, and leave to cook for about 15 minutes over low heat.
- Before serving, add the almonds and oregano to taste.
