Rice with White Wine

Preparation Method

  1. In a properly heated pan, melt the butter and sauté the leeks until translucent.
  2. Add the rice and season with salt and freshly ground pepper, and saute for 3 minutes.
  3. Add the white wine and sauté until the alcohol evaporates, add the water and let it boil, taste the flavors and adjust if necessary.
  4. Cook with the pan covered on low heat for 15 minutes.
  5. Turn off and wait 5 minutes.
  6. Add to the rice the parsley and the finely grated parmesan cheese, mix everything well, cover the pan and wait 3 more minutes.
  7. Serve the rice hot.
