Lemon and poppy seed scones
The famous “five o’clock tea” has arrived at your home! And with it the famous lemon and poppy seed scones, light and fluffy, generously spread with jam or butter.
Ingredients

300g of wheat flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

200 ml of cream

2 tablespoonful of lemon (zest)

2 tablespoonful of poppy seeds
Preparation Method
- Preheat the oven to 180 ºC.
- Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- In a bowl mix the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
- Add the coconut oil and mix everything with your fingertips until you get a sandy mixture.
- Add the cream, juice and lemon zest and mix together.
- Finally, add the poppy seeds and stir until well incorporated.
- With the help of an ice cream scoop, shape the dough into balls, place them on the tray, leaving some space between them, and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes.
