Grapefruit Gin Tonic
If you like to innovate in gin and tonic recipes, try this one with the smooth, citrus flavour of grapefruit. Simple and practical to make, it’s very easy to recreate at home.
Ingredients
-
400ml tonic water
-
Grapefruit (2 slices and 2 strips of peel)
-
Pink pepper, to taste
-
Mint to garnish
-
Ice to taste
Preparation Method
- Fill the gin and tonic glass with large ice cubes. Swirl the ice in the glass until the sides of the glass are very cold.
- Cut a long strip of grapefruit peel and add the pink peppercorns, after lightly squeezing them with your fingers.
- Add the gin and mix with the twisted spoon. Add the tonic water slowly, through the twisted spoon, so as not to waste the gas. Turn the spoon around halfway to coat everything.
- Garnish with a grapefruit slice in each glass.
