Chop Suey Rice

Ingredients

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1/2 onion cut into cubes

2 minced garlic cloves

2 teacups of water

2 eggs

200 grams of cubed ham

1 cup of peas
Preparation Method
- In a pan, heat the oil and sauté the onion and garlic. Add the rice and sauté quickly and drizzle with water.
- Let it cook on low heat and with the pan semi-covered for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the eggs. In a non-stick skillet, fry the eggs, stirring constantly, until cooked through.
- Towards the end of the rice cooking, add the eggs, ham, peas and chop suey, and mix. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
- It’s ready to serve!
