Bellini Cocktail
Bellini is a cocktail made with 2 parts peach juice and 1 part sparkling wine. This sophisticated cocktail was invented by Giuseppe Cipriani in 1945 at Harry’s Bar in Venice, but it didn’t get the name “bellini” until 1948, in honor of the Venetian painters Jacopo Bellini and Giovanni Bellini. This delicious cocktail has, among its famous connoisseurs, Charlie Chaplin, Orson Welles, Ernest Hemingway, Arturo Toscanini, Winston Churchill, Somerset Maugham, Marcello Mastroianni, Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, Truman Capote and Pablo Picasso.
