Azorean Lapas Grilled
The limpets have an accentuated taste of the sea, combining very well with the seasonings used in the traditional Azorean recipe.
Ingredients

Medium Sized Limpets

250g salted butter

1 head of garlic
Preparation Method
- Place the limpets for a few hours in a container with water and salt, in order to remove any sand they may have;
- Mince the garlic cloves very finely;
- Arrange the limpets on a grill with the ladle down, so that the sauce does not spill;
- Place a pinch of minced garlic, a teaspoon of chili paste, and a piece of butter on each limpet;
- Grill the limpets until they start to come off the shells.
