Gochujang is a salty and spicy Korean fermented condiment made from red chili peppers, glutinous rice, fermented soybeans and salt. Traditionally, it has been naturally fermented over the years in large clay pots.
It is an authentic Korean red chili paste that has a salty, sweet and spicy flavor. It is one of the main ingredients in making dishes like Kimchi Jjigae (Kimchi Stew), Bibimbap (Korean Rice Bowl) and Tteokbokki (Spicy Rice Cakes).
