It is kept in jars throughout the year, it can be used in stews, fried foods, soups, cottage cheese and fresh cheeses, in appetizers, as well as in pork sausages (black pudding, chorizo ??and sausage). Also used in fish cooked in the oven and spread on cornbread.

Dona Pimentinha’s Spicy Pepper is produced in Candelária, São Miguel Island, Azores, and prepared in an artisanal way.
