Kaffir lime leaves are native to tropical Asia, including India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. The leaves are widely used in Thai and Lao cuisine (for dishes like tom yum), and in Cambodian cuisine (for Krueng paste).
