Product Description
Pappadums are a staple of Indian cuisine, consisting of a thin, firm and dry pastry sheet.
They can be served cold or hot, as an appetizer or accompaniment to spicy Indian cuisine dishes such as curry.
Pappadums can be cooked in various ways, in the microwave, cooked in the oven or fried in oil. The most common method is the frying method. To fry, put enough oil in the pan and bring to medium heat until it reaches the frying point. Carefully place the poppadum in the hot oil. Make sure that the entire pappadum is well immersed and fry for 3 to 4 seconds. It is not necessary to cook on both sides. Carefully remove excess oil from the pappadums.
Ingredients:
Urad flour (vigna mungo) 80%, water, salt, raising agent: sodium bicarbonate, corn oil, asafoetida.
Allergens:
May contain traces of sulfites.
Storage:
Store in a dry place. Once opened, keep refrigerated in na airtight container ande use within 15days.
Preparation Suggestion:
Microwave: Heat on full power in 30sec. Pan: Fry in hot oil for 10sec on each side, then drain off the oil and serve. Grill/Oven: Toast under a very hot grill for 15 sec on each side until they bubble and are very lightly brown.
