Only Ori di Langa’s 30 years of experience in the art of truffle processing are able to create such a delicious and delicate product as these Whole Summer Black Truffles.
The truffles are carefully selected from the most mature and regular shaped truffles to offer a high quality product. The special processing technique keeps their characteristics unchanged and able to last up to four years. They are preserved in salted water and sterilized, so they can be consumed out of season.
As their name suggests, summer truffles are harvested earlier than burgundy truffles, from May to August. They are most often found in the southern part of the distribution area of the species, notably in the Mediterranean climate areas of France, Italy and Spain.
Ingredients:
Summer truffle (Tuber aestivum Vitt), water, salt, natural flavor.
Storage:
Keep in a cool and dry place. Refrigerate after opening (+4°C) and use within 3 days.
Preparation Suggestion:
Use them to enrich your special recipes. They are also excellent to decor sophisticated dishes.
