Lee Kum Kee Char Sui is an oriental barbecue sauce based on honey and soy. The bittersweet flavour gives a new dimension to the meat barbecue, especially chicken wings. Can be used as a marinade or to rub. Also suitable as sauce for sautéing.
Ingredients:
Sugar, water, salt, honey, fermented SOYBEAN paste (water, salt, SOYBEANS, WHEAT flour), SOY sauce (water, salt, SOYBEAN seeds, WHEAT flour), modified corn starch, dehydrated garlic, spices, acidifying agent: E260, acid (acetic acid)

Preparation Suggestion:
For the best Chinese BBQ for four people:
Marine 500g of pork for 2 hours or more in 5tbsp of Lee Kum Kee char siu sauce. Roast in the oven at 180 C until the centre reaches 75 C or quick cook on a searingly hot BBQ. For a sticky golden glaze, brush with honey during the last few minutes of cooking.
