Its flavour is described as rich, buttery, and delicate, unlike that of na ordinary duck or goose liver.
Considered a delicacy of luxury in some places, as in France and na illegal product in others, by its controversial mode of production.
This Canardie Block of duck foie gras is ideal for na impromptu appetizer or as na entree.
Ingredients:
Duck foie gras, water, alcohol, salt, sugar, pepper, preservative: sodium nitrite.
Storage:
Once opened, store refrigerated between 0°C and +4°C and consume within 3 days. Best served chilled.
Preparation Suggestion:
Remove it from the fridge 15 minutes before cutting it with a thin knife blade heated with warm water.
Usage Suggestions:
Serve foie gras with grilled bread and a white wine or a glass of champagne
