Also known as “Ginjinha de Óbidos” (little sour cherry’s from Óbidos) this is a portuguese liqueur with a strong and intense sour cherry flavor. Red in its color and with the fruits within the bottle, it is usually served in a chocolat shot glass. It is believed that the origins of this liquor dates back to the XVII century from a friar from that region from that took advantage of the large amount of sour cherries that gowned in that particular area.

Sour cherry, water, alcohol and sugar.
Preparation Suggestion:
Deve ser consumido a uma temperatura entre 15 e 18 ºC. Em clima quente, recomenda-se servir fresco.
Usage Suggestions:
Simply Serve simple in a cup or glass of chocolate as na appetizer or digestive. Also great for cocktails or for culinary purposes.
