Product Description
The name is the past participle of the verb Pestare, which means “to crush”, in reference to the original method of preparation, which according to tradition, the ingredients are “crushed” or ground in a marble mortar through a circular movement of a wooden pestle. Pesto is an Italian sauce, originally from Genoa and although the base of its recipe is fixed, it can be made with different ingredients.
Ingredients:
Basil* (49%), extra virgin olive oil*, Parmigiano Reggiano DOP CHEESE* (MILK, salt, rennet), Pecorino CHEESE* (MILK, salt, rennet), salt, pine nuts*, acidity regulator: lactic acid. *Organic Ingredient.
Allergens:
May contain traces of nuts (almonds).
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place. After opening, keep refrigerated and consume within 2-3 days.
