Les Assaisonnements Briards is a company founded in Lagny-sur-Marne in 1865 by Mr. Mathon who passed to the Chamois family in 1890. It has always produced a quality vinegar, based on white wine.

At the time, France was divided into two parts and the Loire served as a demarcation. The north of France found the raw material in beets while the south of France found it in wine. The Vinegar Factory has produced and delivered serving vinegar for the preparation of Pommery’s Mustard de Meaux for many decades.

Les Assaisonnements Briards has always jealously guarded this authentic manufacturing process in the production of mustards and vinegars and provides the world with its know-how.

The authenticity and quality of its products allowed this company to reach today 75% of its turnover in Exports, attracting consumers from around 40 countries.
