Product Description
The plums d´Elvas DOP, are the oldest and most typical sweets from the Alto Alentejo region. The recipe consists of the processing of the Queen Claudia plums. The plum recipe was part of the recipe of the Convent of Nossa Senhora da Consolação in Elvas. Today, plums are used and highly sought after for making confectionary sweets and some dishes, or simply to be tasted.
