Worldwide known, the mayonnaise is original from the city of Maó, in the Balearic Islands. Taken to France after the Battle of Minorca in 1756, the condiment where known as salsa mahonesa in Castilian and Mahonesa in Catalan, popularizing itself as mayonnaise in French cuisine.
Bornibus mayonnaise is prepared with fresh eggs and that is what makes it mild and delicate.

Rapeseed oil 71%, water, EGG yolk 7.6% (EGG 89%, salt), vinatgre, sugar, salt, pepper flavouring, thickeners (xanthan gum- guar gum), antioxidant: EDTA.
