Chilli and Cheese Frittata

A frittata is a specialty of Italian cuisine, usually filled with different ingredients. Serve the pepper and cheese frittata with bread.

Ingredients

  • 2 pcs mixed peppers
  • 1 unit courgette
  • 1 unit onion
  • 6 pcs eggs
  • 100 g feta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation Method

  1. Remove the seeds from the peppers and cut them into thin strips. Cut the courgette into small cubes. Set aside.
  2. In an ovenproof frying pan, sauté the thinly sliced onion and garlic powder in olive oil. Cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the peppers and courgette. Cook over a low heat for a further 4 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, beat the eggs in a bowl and season with salt and pepper to taste. Add them to the frying pan.
  5. Add the diced feta cheese and mix in.
  6. Bake in the oven, preheated to 180° C, for 20 minutes or until the egg is cooked to your liking.
