Product Description
After 132 years, the recipe for butter crisps remains a well-kept secret, which has not changed over the years.
It is a biscuit made with butter, caster sugar, fresh eggs and flour. This new variant is also made according to the same recipe, but a layer of Belgian dark chocolate has been added as it comes out of the oven.
Jules Destrooper uses only the finest Belgian chocolate. A unique recipe has been created especially for the brand – with cocoa beans from America, Africa and Asia that, combined, are delicious. In addition, all the producers of the cocoa beans have earned the Rainforest Alliance label, the hallmark of sustainable agriculture.
