Chicken Tikka Masala
This Chicken Tikka Masala is a perfect mid-week curry for the whole family.
Ingredients

3 tbsp. natural yoghurt

2 large chicken breasts, cut into small pieces

1 tbsp oil

1 onion, finely chopped

1 clove garlic, crushed

1 thumb grated ginger

2 tablespoons of water

1 knob of butter
-
2 tablespoons of cream
Preparation Method
- Mix the natural yoghurt and tikka paste, then add the chicken breast pieces. Leave to marinate.
- Heat the oil in a large pan and add the onion, garlic and ginger and fry for about 5 minutes to soften.
- Add the marinated chicken and fry until sealed and lightly browned.
- Add the chopped tomatoes, smoked salt and water and cook uncovered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the butter and lemon juice and heat through.
- Finish with cream.
- Cook the Basmati rice according to package directions.
